Working for yourself doesn’t mean you work alone.

When business slows down, it’s tempting to go quiet. To wait it out. To assume people aren’t paying attention.

But staying visible — even in slow seasons — is one of the smartest things you can do.

Not because it instantly fills your calendar. Because it builds trust. Keeps you top of mind. Shows that you’re still here and still in motion.

That’s the message in my latest article: Feed the Right Wolf: Staying Visible When Business Feels Quiet

It’s about showing up with consistency, not for vanity metrics, but to plant the seeds that grow into future opportunities. You never know who’s watching quietly, waiting for the right time to say, “I’ve been meaning to reach out.”

And speaking of seeds…

I’ve always loved the idea that brand marketing is like planting trees. You may not see results right away, but the effort compounds over time, especially when you stay consistent, even when it’s quiet.

So if things feel slower than usual, or if you’re concerned about the second half of 2025, here’s my gentle nudge:

Keep showing up. Keep sharing. Keep planting.

Because visibility today is what creates opportunity tomorrow.

I closed a new deal this week. It’s not for a ton of money, and some of the business coaches I admire might even say it’s a bad idea. But I don’t care. Because this deal isn’t just about the money—it’s about the opportunity. It’s not a big branding project or a...
